Lead the Launch of Our New Branch

As we open a new branch in Columbia, we’re looking for a skilled and service-oriented Branch Manager to lead day-to-day operations, build a strong team, and grow our presence in this new market.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you'll be the face of our new branch—overseeing operations, guiding staff development, and cultivating strong relationships with both business and personal clients. This is a key leadership position for someone who is energized by growth, community, and exceptional service.
Leadership & Supervision
- Hire, train, and coach a high-performing branch team
- Oversee staffing schedules and daily teller operations
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular coaching
- Support staff in meeting customer needs and identifying solutions across all banking services
Operational Oversight
- Manage daily operations including cash handling, account opening, and transaction processing
- Monitor teller reports and manage branch cash flow
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and banking regulations
- Resolve customer and staff concerns with professionalism and tact
Business & Community Engagement
- Build relationships with local businesses and support commercial lending partnerships
- Maintain strong personal banking relationships and ensure top-tier customer service
- Represent the bank in the community and participate in local events
- Promote a welcoming, customer-focused branch culture
Strategic Contribution
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve branch sales and service goals
- Drive a culture of operational excellence, relationship building, and accountability
- Support marketing, outreach, and business development efforts
- Contribute to the successful launch and long-term success of the new branch
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree and relevant banking experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of banking experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Background in business banking or commercial client support strongly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Sales, customer service, and cash handling experience
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
