Vice President, Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The Technology team is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for designing and maintaining dashboards, automating recurring reports, and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions that support proactive system management and continuous improvement. support the ongoing growth and modernization of our technology platform.

 

What You'll Do

  • Administer cloud-hosted infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensuring adherence to security, performance, and cost management standards appropriate for financial systems.
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, with a focus on uptime, data protection, and service integrity.
  • Manage Windows Server infrastructure and Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, supporting authentication, authorization, and access management across the firm.
  • Implement and maintain technical controls aligned to security policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, FINRA), and data classification standards. 
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and leverage Microsoft automation tools to streamline provisioning, maintenance, and monitoring tasks.
  • Maintain clear documentation for system configurations, access policies, and operational procedures. 

 

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure or systems engineering roles, ideally in financial services or investment management industry.
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing and deploying endpoints using Microsoft Intune and enforcing device compliance.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills to support custom telemetry, log analysis, and data integration.
  • Familiarity with Azure networking concepts (NSGs, VNets, VPN Gateway, etc.)

Location:  Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms.  A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $200,000- $250,000 together with the benefits listed above.
