Vice President, Data & Analytics
As part of our next phase of growth, ICONIQ is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Vice President of Data & Analytics to play a critical role in scaling our enterprise data capabilities. This role will accelerate how we use data to power decision-making across investments, sourcing, operations, and client service.
Reporting directly to the Head of Data & Analytics, the Vice President will serve as a strategic partner and second-in-command—helping drive execution, manage cross-functional initiatives, and evolve our data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence capabilities. This leader will oversee technical delivery across data engineering, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning efforts while shaping the roadmap, managing and mentoring team members, and acting as a key liaison with stakeholders across ICONIQ.
What You’ll Do
- Lead enterprise data initiatives, aligning strategy with firmwide objectives.
- Manage and grow a high-performing team across data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence.
- Oversee scalable data platforms using Snowflake, Python, and Azure DevOps.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines, models, and integration frameworks.
- Deliver innovative AI/ML solutions, including generative AI and predictive modeling.
- Translate data into insights and stories that drive decision-making.
- Champion responsible AI practices and data governance.
- Design self-service analytics tools in Tableau for key stakeholders.
- Serve as a strategic partner helping to drive execution, manage cross-functional initiatives, and evolve our data, analytics and AI capabilities
- Oversee technical delivery across data engineering, BI and AI/ML efforts while shaping the roadmap, managing & mentoring team members, and acting as a key liaison with stakeholders across ICONIQ
Ideal Candidate Background
- 10+ years in data engineering or analytics, including 3+ years in leadership.
- Hands-on leader who can balance deep technical expertise with business acumen, team development, and executive presence.
- Deep SQL and Python expertise; familiarity with orchestration tools
- Proven success scaling enterprise data platforms
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern monitoring tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Background in financial services or investment-related environments preferred.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks like OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain.
- Interest in using AI to enhance productivity and innovation.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. Exempt: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $200,000 - $250,000, together with the benefits listed above.
