Analyst, Capital Markets
The principal responsibility of the Capital Markets Analyst is to help drive the capital formation strategy and execution for the firm’s technology focused direct investment funds. This position involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders in the firm.
We’re looking for this individual to create and drive the execution of capital formation plans, build our target pipeline, develop marketing materials, manage aspects of the fundraising process for the firm’s flagship funds, SMAs and co-investments, and maintain accountability for and drive the closing process for funds. The position will have increasing client interaction over time based on success in the role and scale of the firm.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive creation of new marketing materials (e.g. flipbook, custom investor presentations, returns analysis, PPM, RFPs, standard DDQs and all other ad hoc investor diligence requests) in close partnership with the deal teams.
- Develop relationship management skills by supporting the senior team initially, and eventually have the potential to own relationships in the coming years.
- Responsible to own the investor pipeline across all direct investment strategies including growth equity, digital infrastructure, and technology enabled real estate (~100+ investors per fund).
- Centralized capital markets data collection and reporting for the firm, including creating internal thought leadership to prepare the firm for future capital formation.
- Develop the fundraising calendar, push forward robust roadshow schedules and monitor the timeline of the overall fundraise.
- Assist with developing detailed marketing plans and work with key stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
- Special ad hoc projects as needed including market mapping exercises, strategic presentations and analysis presented to management team members, and various other requests.
Ideal Candidate Background:
- 1-3+ years of experience in project management, investor relations, or fundraising in private markets industry.
- Experience at a private markets firm or a private markets placement firm is preferred.
- Self-Starter with strong sense of ownership, accountability, and desire to help drive multiple business units to market leadership.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Passionate about technology and its impact across all sectors.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York City office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $90,000-100,000 together with the benefits listed above.
