About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to serve as a trusted strategic partner to the President of Investment Management at ICONIQ. As Vice President, Strategy & Business Management, you’ll help shape the future of the business by leading strategy, talent, and transformation initiatives across the organization.

 

This role sits within ICONIQ Investment Management, which strives to deliver exceptional investment portfolios by harnessing the differentiated capital and strategic strength of the ICONIQ community.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the execution of firm-wide strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment and accountability across teams.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for the Investment Management leadership team.
  • Develop KPIs and strategic dashboards to monitor business performance and operational health.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Technology, and Human Capital to strengthen governance and compliance.
  • Lead planning for leadership off-sites, quarterly reviews, and strategic sessions.
  • Own competitive analysis and market intelligence reporting.
  • Oversee leadership communications and support internal messaging efforts.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization.

 

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, investment banking, management consulting, or asset management.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects in a high-performance environment.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and business judgment.
  • Strong communicator with experience influencing senior leaders.
  • Highly organized and solution-oriented, with strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and cultural awareness.
  • Familiarity with AI tools is a plus—we value curiosity and innovation.

 

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco or New York office in accordance with our hybrid working policy. 

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $200,000 - $250,000 together with the benefits listed above.
