Associate, Benefits Manager

ICONIQ Capital is looking for an individual to handle the administration and management of US, Singapore and UK based health and welfare benefit programs including 401(k) retirement plans in compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and company regulations, and participation in benefit initiatives and projects.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Handle escalated benefit plan and leave policy inquiries and plan provision explanations from the HR Business Partners, Benefits Analysts, and benefit plan vendors.
  • Manage the Firm’s Leave of Absence Program including US and Global leaves.
  • Assist with annual compliance filings including Form 5500, ACA reporting, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Assist with annual projects including the 401(k) Plan audit and the Open Enrollment process for the firm and multiple family office entities.
  • Collaborate with our People Operations Team on various activities such as payroll audits and maintenance of benefits information in our HRIS system.
  • Support the VP, Benefits in the review and implementation of benefit initiatives including new benefit plan offerings and vendor additions and changes.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 6+ years of health and welfare benefit plan experience. Retirement plan experience a plus.
  • Experience administering leaves of absences. Experience with CA state leaves a plus.
  • Solid understanding of state and federal laws and compliance regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA. Knowledge of California state law a plus.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word and general benefit enrollment systems and HRIS knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $130,000 - $145,000 together with the benefits listed above.
