Analyst-Associate, Fund Accounting

At ICONIQ, the Fund Accounting team works cross functionally with various teams to ensure the accuracy of the firm’s financial processes. The team supports the investment, administration and operations of our Funds and Co-investments as well as the evaluation of our direct investment portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the management of accounting, tax, financial reporting, and data analysis for ICONIQ managed funds.
  • Assist in the month/quarter end close process and review of monthly/quarterly NAVs
  • Assist in review of quarterly GAAP financial statements and Limited Partner/General Partner reporting packages prepared by fund administrator.
  • Work with the Fund Finance team & external fund administrators to process capital calls, distributions, wire transfers, deal fundings, and investor updates.
  • Support other Fund Accounting team members in managing the year end audit and tax process
  • Aid in regulatory reporting such as Form PF and Form ADV.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in accounting/economics/finance/business
  • 2+ years of accounting experience ideally within a Hedge Fund, Private Equity/Venture Capital firm, Real Estate Fund or Fund Administrator
  • Superior Excel (construction of pivot tables, and use of VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and similar formulas) and PowerPoint skills
  • CPA is a plus
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Superior communication skills, oral and written.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in either our San Francisco or New York office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $90,000 - $150,000 together with the benefits listed above.
