The Opportunity: Senior Analyst, Business Strategy & Operations.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our centralized Business Operations team, serving as a critical extension of the firm’s strategic and operational function. This individual will provide high-leverage analytical, operational, and execution support across firmwide priorities, with an initial focus on the Studio teams. Reporting to the VP of Business Operations and working closely with the Head of Studio, this individual will help lead cross-functional initiatives and bring structure to complex projects involving strategic business planning, financial modeling, data analysis, AI, technology workflows, and communications for senior leadership.

This is a dynamic role at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution. The Senior Analyst will work across a wide range of initiatives, from developing analytical models to driving business cases, enhancing operational processes, and integrating AI-driven tools. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker and clear communicator with strong analytical skills, operational discipline, and a builder’s mindset focused on intelligent, repeatable systems. They thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments – bringing clarity to ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and translating complex initiatives into actionable outcomes.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the VP of Business Operations to structure complex problems, frame decision points, and drive clarity across cross-functional priorities while applying a data-driven and AI-informed approach to operational design.
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives across the Studio team, partnering closely with the Head of Studio to drive planning, timelines, and execution while ensuring stakeholder alignment, surfacing risks, and sustaining project momentum.
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling, data analysis, and business case development to support executive decision-making, scenario planning, and departmental reviews.
  • Conduct market research, trend analysis, and strategic deep dives to support new initiatives and firmwide business priorities, including technology planning and structured operating frameworks that integrate generative AI.
  • Create executive-level presentation materials, distilling complex data and analysis into clear, concise, and actionable formats for senior leadership meetings and firmwide planning.
  • Drive process improvement and tool optimization, identifying opportunities to systematize workflows, embed automation, and operationalize AI use cases in partnership with tech process enhancement specialists.
  • Coordinate with internal functions (Technology, Vendor Management, Finance, etc.) to drive alignment and responsible adoption of AI tools and LLM platforms, while streamlining workflows, standardizing practices, and enhancing execution across teams.
  • Design and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards, and operational models to provide visibility into project health, roadmaps, performance metrics, ROI analysis, and resource planning.
  • Support day-to-day operations across Studio functions, including Network Intelligence and Communications, by connecting the dots across teams, systems, and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business operations or analytical roles such as investment banking, corporate strategy, consulting; financial or professional services background a plus.
  • Strong analytical toolkit with experience building structured reporting, data analytics, business cases, financial modeling, or operational dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Excel modeling, with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear outputs and recommendations; familiarity with quantitative frameworks used for forecasting and evaluation.
  • Ability to bring structure, clarity, and analytical rigor to complex and fast-moving initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, balance competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Tech-savvy with a strong interest in operationalizing AI, building intelligent workflows, and low-code tools to enhance productivity and decision making.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) and working knowledge of prompt engineering and automation design principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with data analytics and business intelligence platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, data queries and API integrations a plus.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable operating with frequent ambiguity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and able to prioritize.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven and solution oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a solid academic background required. Coursework or experience related to AI, systems thinking, data science, operational analytics, or financial strategy is a plus.
