Associate, Real Assets

The Associate role is a career-track, team-oriented role supporting the direct real estate investment initiative within ICONIQ. The team is looking to hire an Associate who will be a generalist involved in all facets of real estate transactions and the investment process, including acquisitions, financing, asset management and dispositions. This role sits within ICONIQ Real Assets which invests in real estate and digital infrastructure where technological disruptions create scalable opportunities. The position represents a rare opportunity to influence the development and growth of a real estate platform with the potential to achieve significant scale and success.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities across the real estate capital structure, assisting primarily in all aspects of detailed underwriting and due diligence across all property types.
  • Excel / Argus financial modeling.
  • Development of presentations and memoranda.
  • Assistance in sourcing new transactions / building relationships with operating partners and brokers.
  • Market research including macroeconomic trends, company specific diligence, property tours and other relevant trend analysis to develop investment themes.
  • Exposure to fund management, investor service, capital raising / investor marketing and reporting.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in real estate with a preference for multifamily experience.
  • Excellent academic background in relevant degree with examples of strong cognitive ability and analytical skillset.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and deliver in a less structured environment, understands and grasps new structures and concepts quickly without oversight.
  • Self-starter, intellectually curious, and highly motivated.
  • Contributes to a positive culture and demonstrates ability to work well with others.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies is a plus. We value team members who are curious about leveraging AI to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York City office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $130,000 - $140,000 together with the benefits listed above.
