About this role

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for driving revenue via ID5 channel partnerships. This includes procuring new channel partners, both reseller and enablement platforms (platforms that enable ID5 ID audiences or campaigns to be transacted upon), as well as leading an account management team to evangelize and nurture revenue throughput across partners. In this role, they will work closely with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations to lead the development and growth of ID5’s Strategic Partnership function. This is a new role at ID5, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of 2 account managers in 2025. Grow team in 2026.
  • Act as a business lead for ID5’s most valuable strategic partners who are mostly comprised of data platforms (CDPs/DMPs, data collaboration, graphs)  and DSPs
  • Define target markets as well as prospect and negotiate contracts with would-be partners, particularly data collaboration and qualified ID5 reseller companies 
  • Work collaboratively with peers in:
    • Sales to procure new customers enabled by channel partners
    • Publisher/Distribution to streamline partner onboarding as appropriate
    • Marketing to cultivate  partner  product marketing and event support
    • Finance to ensure appropriate ID5 Reseller forecasting and billing
    • Legal to ensure partner contracts are airtight and protect ID5’s interests 
    • Product to help guide partner integration conversations and provide input for new channel partner development, including how they may optimally impact a commercial framework with partners,
  • Develop and execute an on-going training and communications system for ensuring ID5 is top of mind and understood by channel partner employees 
  • Working with the Commercial Operations Manager, oversee, enforce and communicate a clear pipeline management process for tracking reseller revenue and channel partner deals 
  • Represent ID5 at relevant industry conferences, including speaking publicly on ID5’s behalf as guided by ID5 Marketing

Requirements

  • 10+ years in external facing role within Marketing or Advertising technology
  • 5+ years experience managing people, ideally mid-level Account Managers
  • 5+ years experience in SaaS based business development or sales 
  • In-depth knowledge of the AdTech data marketplace 
  • Comfortable and skilled public speaker and communicator
  • Travel up to 25% of time, including international travel ( predominantly Europe)
