Position Summary
IDB Bank is seeking a Specialty Deposit Product Manager with exposure to deposit products, fiduciary, escrow solutions, and treasury-related banking services. The Specialty Deposit Product Manager serves as a support function to the Senior Vice President (SVP), Head of Specialty Deposits, assisting with the day-to-day management and coordination of specialized deposit solutions. The role provides product training, reporting, administrative, and execution support across key offerings including IOLTA/IOLA accounts, Deposit Account Control Agreements (DACA), 1031 Exchange solutions, Surety Bonds, and reciprocal products. This position helps support the Bank’s specialty deposit activities, product governance processes, and deposit growth efforts. The position works closely with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Treasury Management, Risk, Technology, and Data teams to help coordinate day-to-day product support, assist with team priorities, and contribute to consistent and well-managed product execution.
Job Description
Responsibilities include the following:
- Act as the niche business owner for complex fiduciary accounts, focusing heavily on regulatory compliance governed by strict frameworks
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of specialty deposit products and services, including formulating business cases, submitting value propositions and ongoing optimization to committee stakeholders
- Act as the business owner of these specialty deposit portfolios, managing strategy, profitability, pricing and compliance to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Research and propose feature and functionality enhancements with the intent to modernize and enhance products and services
- Partner with business line leaders and marketing partners to design promotional campaigns and sales strategies to attract and retain clients.
- Ensure product features, disclosures and rate changes comply with banking regulations and monitor state by state rules on IOLA/IOLTA, Reciprocal, Fiduciary and escrow type accounts
- Develop or update policies, procedures and respond to third party inquiries
- Train commercial and private bank teams by creating toolkits and job aides for business line bankers
- Monitor customer journey by reviewing any business line feedback, compliance or operational incidents with the intent to continuously improve customer satisfaction
- Use reporting and data analysis to help identify product trends, client activity, operational issues, and other items for team review.
- Help develop and monitor KPIs, MIS reporting, dashboards, and portfolio performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of banking or financial services experience with exposure to deposit products, treasury services, FX or related banking support functions.
- Professional certifications such as CRCM, CTP, or similar are a plus.
- Knowledge of banking and treasury system architecture and functionality such as FIS, Fiserv or Silverlake
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, EXCEL and Powerpoint
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Exposure to institutional, fiduciary, escrow, or treasury management clients is helpful.
- General familiarity with fintech partnerships or embedded banking structures is a plus.
Compensation
The expected annual salary for this position is between $150,000 and $180,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
