About the Role
The Director of Workforce Solutions will play a foundational role in building and scaling a new line of business at ID.me focused on the employment ecosystem. You will lead business development, and solution design for integrations that help ID.me members interact across the employment lifecycle. You will also unlock new data acquisition channels, helping to bring additional employment data sources and workforce credentials into the ID.me wallet.
This is a highly strategic, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise partnerships, product thinking, and emerging market creation.
What You’ll Do
- Own and lead Workforce Solutions, including ICP definition, messaging, use case prioritization, and pipeline development.
- Design and drive data acquisition strategies to enrich ID.me’s trust graph with employment metadata and verified employer relationships.
- Build partnerships across the employment ecosystem: ATS, HRIS, payroll processors, background screening firms, and more.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to scope and prioritize high-impact integrations.
- Work with strategic customers and partners to pilot ID.me solutions across the employee lifecycle.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on employment identity, evangelizing ID.me’s Workforce Solutions internally and externally.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure adoption, credential issuance, partner expansion, and revenue contribution.
Required Qualifications of the Workforce Solutions Account Director:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise GTM, partnerships, or solutions strategy
- 2+ years of experience in a strategic sales or product role at an HR tech, identity, cybersecurity, or unicorn SaaS company.
- Current resident in (or actively planning to relocate to) one of the following major metros:
- NYC
- Atlanta
- Alpharetta
- San Francisco
- Strategic thinker who can craft a market narrative, build partner relationships, and deliver value to stakeholders from C-level to product.
- Deep understanding of the employment technology ecosystem — including how hiring, onboarding, background screening, and access management interact.
- Builder mindset: energized by standing up new offerings and markets from scratch.
- Experience working in cross-functional, high-growth environments where speed and execution matter.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills with a passion for creating change.
Desired Qualifications of the Workforce Solutions Account Director:
- Experience working with or selling to HRIS, ATS, background screening, or IAM platforms.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-63-3 standards and workforce identity compliance requirements.
- Product or technical aptitude — enough to speak fluently with engineering and integration partners.
The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.

The above represents the anticipated total rewards package for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on qualifications, professional experiences, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location, and other job related factors.
Pay Range
$240,000 - $265,000 USD
