University 2026 Intern: Data Scientist

What You’ll Do

  • Work with senior data scientists to design experiments, test hypotheses, and analyze large datasets.
  • Contribute to building and evaluating predictive models and data pipelines.
  • Help design dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key metrics and business outcomes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support exploratory analyses to uncover trends in user behavior and system performance.
  • Participate in team discussions on data strategy, model performance, and product analytics.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
  • GPA must be greater than 3.5.
  • Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and data analysis libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with machine learning methods such as decision trees, regression, and ensemble models.
  • Experience working with large datasets through coursework, research, or prior internships.
  • Curious, data-driven thinker with strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities.
  • Excited to apply analytics to meaningful, real-world challenges.
