Client Partner
(i.e.,) are looking for a Client Partner to take ownership of one of our most significant client relationships. This is a senior client-facing role for someone who's as comfortable managing an executive stakeholder as they are untangling a delivery problem.
Research indicates that certain demographic groups, such as women, may be less inclined to apply for a role unless they meet all the job requirements. If you're interested in this role, we strongly encourage you to apply, as you might be just what we're looking for.
About the opportunity
You'll become the primary day-to-day leader for a major enterprise account, owning a complex portfolio of digital and technology work. This isn't a project manager role. It's a senior position for someone who can sit in front of a client and say, "I understand the problem. Leave it with me, I'll come back with a solution" and mean it.
You'll manage the relationship, lead multiple streams of work, spot commercial opportunities, and keep delivery teams coordinated and accountable, all while protecting account health and growth.
You'll sit within a cross-functional team to support with:
- Managing executive and senior stakeholder relationships across a large, complex account
- Leading multiple concurrent streams of work, from enterprise websites and platform delivery to integrations and digital transformation programs
- Identifying commercial opportunities and resolving client challenges before they escalate
- Coordinating delivery teams and translating between client needs and delivery reality without creating unnecessary escalation
- Building deep trust with client stakeholders over time, becoming an integral part of the account's future growth
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with clients, who's curious about people, organisations and industries, and who builds trust naturally rather than transactionally.
More specifically, you'll bring:
- A track record leading large, complex client accounts with multiple concurrent workstreams, ideally from an agency or digital, technology or consulting environment
- Strong commercial instincts, with the judgement to protect long-term account health while identifying growth opportunities
- Enough technical credibility in websites, digital platforms, CMS ecosystems, APIs and integrations to have confident, credible conversations with both clients and delivery teams. You don't need to be the deepest technical expert in the room
- High emotional intelligence: you're patient, adaptable, calm under pressure, and politically aware
- Comfort operating within large, hierarchical, relationship-driven enterprise environments, where issues are often resolved through management layers rather than direct confrontation, and where sensing an unspoken concern matters as much as hearing a spoken one
- A genuine point of view on how AI is changing consulting, delivery and client relationships not just familiarity with using it
What success looks like
At six months: The client trusts you as their go-to person. You understand the full resourcing and delivery picture across the account and you're making calls, not just flagging tensions. You've built credibility internally with the teams you rely on. You've had at least one hard conversation with a stakeholder, and it's landed well.
At twelve months: The account is commercially healthy and growing. The client is expanding scope or actively advocating for (i.e.,) because of the relationship you've built. Senior leadership can rely on you to run the account without needing to step in.
