About the Role: 

As a Marketing Analytics Intern with MarComms, you will work with individuals across the organization to help advance IEX's marketing data and analytics insights. This is a cross-functional opportunity where you will be able to leverage both your qualitative and quantitative skills to help IEX set new standards and raise the bar for performance, fairness, and transparency. 

No prior finance experience is necessary - just an appetite to dive deep into data, manage deadlines and be willing to learn! As an intern, you will help elevate the current analytics framework and architecture to highlight more actionable insights for the IEX Businesses well as the IEX Brand, including exploring how AI tools can be used to surface insights faster and more effectively. This position will not only communicate insights to the MarComms team, but to the IEX Businesses and IEX Executives as well. The Marketing Analytics Intern will help to retain data integrity, build dashboards as well as elevate findings and communicate them to the appropriate parties. This includes setting benchmarks and KPIs, measuring against those metrics and providing insights to progress the businesses forward. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Work with the marketing partners and corporate communication team across the organization to build analytics dashboards that will drive progress forward and uncover areas to improve 
  • Apply AI tools to identify trends and patterns in marketing data that inform decisions 
  • Work closely with the team on understanding and knowledge sharing data analytics as it relates to marketing and optimizing performance  
  • Generate meaningful insights that can be used across the business to effectively communicate and inform with data 

Your Background: 

  • Undergraduate working towards a degree in Business, Analytics or Marketing 
  • Knowledge of translating raw data and turning it into actionable insights and recommendations 
  • Experience working with different levels of data across digital platforms 
  • Ability to manage differing priorities and expectations while maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally 

About You: 

  • Classwork or related experience in data analytics, statistics, mathematics or a related field  
  • Interested in marketing with a strong desire to use data, analytics, and AI to make decisions 
  • Curiosity about AI tools and a willingness to learn and apply new technologies quickly 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Organized and detail-oriented 
  • Collaborative team player 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is $35.00 / hour for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
