Inventory Inspection Associate OS&D- M-F 5am-1:30pm
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Vendor Compliance, the OS&D Specialist Lead is responsible for guiding and monitoring the audit, data validation, on-time reporting, tracking, and resolution of non-compliant instances found from the iHerb Supplier Community. The OS&D Specialist Lead will manage the implementation of processes and procedures as well as support department leadership and other functions as required.
Job Expectations:
Lead the OS&D team to ensure that internal processes comply with expectations
Site leader for in-house product quality audits, inspections, and controls
Analyze incoming shipments to ensure they meet iHerb Supplier Manual specifications
Analyze data, provide reporting to maintain established department standards/goals
Lead communication of OS&D issues
Ensure that all OS&D activities are in accordance with productivity standards and timelines
Lead, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPI’s) to ensure supply chain expectations and vendor compliance
Develop opportunities for improvements and contribute to solutions
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers
Lead and support the interaction with cross functional teams and drive efficiencies through collaboration
Lead the functional support of inventory planning and supplier relationship management
Performs cycle count of product as applicable (Operating equipment certification will be required for this function)
Lead and coach team members to adhere to company policies and procedures; follow department training guidelines, best practices, and operating procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Ability to provide leadership along with group task execution to achieve department goals/metrics
Ability to perform tasks consistently and accurately
Problem-solving skills, possess the ability to make sound decisions with good judgment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with internal departments - Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
Understanding of the use of technology tools that enable supply chain reporting, along with collaboration with external stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and proven leadership experience
Demonstrate fact-based decision-making skills
Equipment Knowledge:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience Requirements:
Generally, requires a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma required, or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise, and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to store materials throughout the workday. The Team Member may occasionally lift or move materials and products up to 60 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required. Work Environment: The noise in the work environment is usually moderate. Other factors are:
Hectic, fast paced with multi-level distractions
Company uniforms, closed-toed shoes, casual work environment
Warehouse environment, may be required to wear safety equipment
Ability to work extended hours as required
The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
