Internal Audit Intern
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in auditing, compliance, and risk management within a dynamic corporate environment.
Job Expectations:
- Assist in performing internal audit procedures and testing financial and operational controls
- Support the planning and execution of audit fieldwork under the supervision of senior auditors
- Help document audit findings and prepare working papers in compliance with internal standards
- Perform data analysis using Excel or other tools to identify trends, anomalies, or areas of risk
- Participate in walkthroughs and interviews with departments to understand processes
- Contribute to drafting audit reports and recommending process improvements
- Support compliance reviews and internal control assessments
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the audit team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
Equipment Knowledge:
- Exposure to data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or ACL)
- Familiarity with internal controls and risk management principles
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and audit concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Education Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Analytics/Science.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.
