In today's fiercely competitive marketplace, achieving creative excellence across all touchpoints is crucial. We are seeking a visionary Generative AI Art Director, experienced in the Beauty & Skincare sector, to join our dynamic team.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Excel in high-volume adaptation, ensuring compliance, consistency, and competitiveness.
  • Manage, motivate and inspire our talented creative team, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring the highest quality from initial concept through to execution and delivery.
  • Integrate automation and AI, to revolutionize content creation and adaptation for iconic beauty brands

Ultimately, as the Gen AI Art Director, you will lead the creative vision, guide the design team, ensure visual consistency, and maintain brand integrity.

What you will be doing:

  • Creative Leadership: Bringing ideas and creativity to projects while working within a broad range of design & copy guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral. Ensure creative team adhere to this vision, through providing feedback and clear documentation such as guidelines, style sheets and mood boards. Set creative and technical standards and maintain best practices.
  • Client Management: Act as a strong client liaison with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships & influence. Develop a strong relationship with clients onsite
  • Internal Leadership Partner: Effectively support the organization and prioritization of workloads for the creative team to manage client delivery, and integrating with client-side team to maintain a top tier agency service. Work closely with Project Managers to deliver artwork on schedule
  • Design Support: passionate about design & generative AI, understanding the latest innovations in digital. Strong knowledge of art direction and campaign concepts built using eye catching, brand aware design and layout.
  • Organization & Collaboration: Work alongside a copywriters and designers to visualize concepts and ideas, taking work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Drive internal training and mentoring sessions with other creative team members
  • Manage a variety of trusted outsourcers in order to ensure the highest visual quality is present in all aspects of the game
  • Gen AI Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in best practises & technology, both in terms of platform, art tools, and new techniques and support implementation within the team

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Proven creative experience, preferably in Beauty & Fashion, at an advertising agency or design firm
  • Creative experience with generative AI
  • 2+ years as a Senior Designer
  • 2+ years managing designers and digital projects
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Experience guiding projects from ideation to implementation
  • Excellent eye for visuals and art direction.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative flair and AI interest.
  • Skilled in translating ideas into compelling narratives
  • Proficient in Adobe Workfront, Microsoft 365, and related software.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative tools
  • Experience in Gen AI tools and asset
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $110,500.00 to $123,500.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
