Strategic Finance Sr. Associate - Commercial Partnerships
Imagen’s mission is to ensure that every patient receives the right diagnosis at the right time. The company operates at the “front door” of healthcare—the primary care provider (PCP) office—equipping clinics with in-house staff and equipment, as well as specialists powered by industry-leading AI. Imagen’s platform includes six FDA-cleared AI devices capable of automatically detecting over 120 pathologies. The company is rapidly expanding its platform across the U.S. - from 16 states and 500,000 patients in 2023, to 20+ states and 1.5M patients in 2024. By 2026, Imagen will deliver care across 35 states and to more than 5m patients annually. Imagen is also expanding its product offerings on both the technology and clinical sides, developing new AI offerings for risk-bearing entities while expanding into new specialty areas like cardiology.

The Commercial Finance team operates at the intersection of Imagen’s Finance and Commercial & Strategic Partnerships teams. Its responsibilities include presenting Imagen’s value proposition to prospective customers through financial analyses that highlight the impact on customer P&Ls. The team drives top-line growth through pricing strategy, margin and cost optimization, new product development, and operational partnerships, as well as ongoing customer support.
The Strategic Finance Sr. Associate - Commercial Partnerships will play a critical role as the "tip of the spear" in driving key customer engagements and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring experience from high-caliber business environments such as investment banking, private equity, or corporate development and apply that expertise to create meaningful impact at a fast-paced health-tech startup. This role reports to the Director of Strategic Finance and is fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with the Commercial Organization (Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer, VP of Growth, etc.) to develop financial and operational models and presentations that illustrate Imagen’s value proposition
- Presenting financial models to prospective customers during sales meetings, fielding questions from prospects, and demonstrating Imagen's financial acumen externally to various stakeholders
- Working cross-functionally with Client Success & Customer Delivery to measure results, refine modeling, and support case study creation
- Analyzing prospective customers’ profitability and conducting in-depth strategic assessments, identifying key trends, opportunities, and risks to inform customers’ strategic decisions through Imagen’s value proposition
- Own cost inputs and pricing for customers in support of Imagen’s top- and bottom-line business goals
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in high caliber business environments including investment banking, private equity, consulting, or high-growth startups
- Ideally Healthcare experience, though not explicitly required
- Highly organized and can successfully manage multiple work streams across different functions
- Proactive and self-motivated to solve problems; comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and ambiguity
- Strong quantitative and verbal skills with high attention to detail and low tolerance for failure
- Excellent communicator with the ability to explain your processes, logic, and decisions
- Possess a "no job is too big or too small" mentality in order to support the various needs of the business
Our headquarters are based in New York, NY and this job is conducted remotely.
The base salary for the position is between $130,000 -170,000, plus equity and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
