Summary of Position
This individual develops recruitment strategies and leads hiring initiatives across the organization to achieve recruitment targets. The Talent Acquisition Manager excels in full-cycle recruiting, possesses strong sourcing skills, and ensures a positive candidate experience. They foster collaborative relationships at all levels and adapt talent acquisition practices and processes to align with the needs of a growing and evolving organization. This role also serves as an active HR generalist contributor, supporting a broad range of people programs and initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
Essential Job Duties
Talent Acquisition
- Owns the day-to-day operations and end-to-end processes for the entirety of the recruiting lifecycle from candidate sourcing, initial candidate contact, evaluation, offer, closing, and onboarding
- Develops and maintains talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans aligned with organizational workforce needs and business goals
- Demonstrates and promotes Imbibe’s culture, values, and benefits to attract top talent, emphasizing a positive candidate experience
- Advises, coaches, and counsels on recruiting best practices; holds hiring managers and interviewers accountable to standardized processes, structured interview frameworks, and consistent evaluation criteria
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with active and passive candidates as well as internal stakeholders
- Leverages AI-powered tools to enhance sourcing, screening, and interview quality; stays current on emerging AI applications in TA and HR
- Tracks and reports on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire to continuously improve the hiring process
- Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations through accurate documentation of candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruitment activities
- Partners with external recruitment agencies as needed
- Supports internship programs within the organization
HR Generalist & People Programs
- Supports the onboarding process, facilitating new hire training, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization for all new employees
- Partners with HR team on employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs, stay interviews, and culture-building activities
- Supports the performance management cycle including goal-setting, mid-year check-ins, and annual review processes
- Contributes to learning and development initiatives in partnership with the L&D function
- Supports HR projects and initiatives as assigned, including policy updates, compliance activities, and organizational development efforts
- Serves as a visible, approachable HR presence in the office, building trust and relationships across all levels of the organization
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
- Demonstrated experience supporting HR generalist functions including onboarding, employee engagement, or performance management
- Strong attention to detail in the context of HR systems and processes
- Exceptional judgment and prior professional experience maintaining strict confidentiality
- Demonstrated commitment to data integrity; maintains accurate, audit-ready records across ATS, HRIS, and other HR systems
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic HR and recruiting data; experience pulling reports, identifying trends, and presenting insights
- Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain in a stationary sitting position 75% of the time
- Ability to communicate information and exchange ideas with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to observe details at close range
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional) certification
- Experience recruiting in the food and beverage, life sciences or CPG industries
- Experience with Greenhouse ATS
- Experience with BrightHire
- Experience with Lattice
- Familiarity with AI tools in a recruiting or HR context, including experience with interview intelligence platforms
Working Conditions
- On-site office setting; Niles, IL
- Hybrid schedule
- 5% travel to off-site recruitment events
Approximate Salary Range
$90,000 - $115,000 USD
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range listed represents the expected earnings for this role. The low end of the range reflects the starting salary for candidates with less experience or qualifications that meet the basic requirements for the position. The high end of the range reflects potential earnings for candidates with extensive experience, specialized skills, or qualifications above the standard requirements for the role.
