Sr. Project Manager
Primary Accountability:
The Senior Project Manager will work with all departments, employees, and stakeholders to develop detailed project plans that will deliver on schedule and within budget and scope. The Senior Project Manager will measure project performance and communicate with management regarding the status of various projects. You’ll be there for them, providing communication and clarity, staying calm and solving problems, leading and guiding your team, and overseeing all phases of your project’s life cycle. Major Duties:
- Coordinate all phases of the project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
- Develop schedules that accurately reflect the scope of the work and confirm alignment with priorities and resource allocation. Critical path must be defined.
- Develop, refine and lead the overall direction, coordination, implementation and execution leveraging life-cycle management process and procedures to ensure consistency with commitments and goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross functional team to ensure process role, clarity, support, accountability and transparency, review projects and resources weekly and make suggestions when needed to align resources more effectively with project leads.
- Gather and define project requirements from internal and/or external teams and translate requirements to technical teams.
- Work with cross functional partners to align resources against project needs and/or work collaboratively to identify and address gaps.
- Be responsible for setting clear expectations with the cross functional team for their respective role in delivering the defined Project(s) on time and budget; ensuring organizational transparency, accountability and risk mitigation.
- Develop strong relationships with internal team members at all levels to further foster collaboration, transparency, accountability and risk mitigation.
- Manage day-to-day client interaction and expectations for large-scale projects.
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to project deadlines and budgets.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, involve all relevant parties, ensure resource availability and allocation of those resources.
- Measure project performance against budgeted cost, estimated project time/hours, progress on critical project milestones and other pertinent project items.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Coach and mentor project team members to take positive actions and accountability for their assigned work.
- Facilitate communication and interaction amongst various departments responsible for production and installation.
- Work with Sales department on pricing and costing.
- Assess and mitigate risk associated with project plans, implementation, and support.
- Provide verbal and written status reports, manage meetings, facilitate requirements, and problem solve.
- Responsible for effective use of project management concepts, tools, and process improvement techniques.
Qualifications:
- You have 10+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or a similar industry required.
- You can manage a team through all phases of a material handling project.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Structured problem-solving abilities and big-picture mentality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
- Detailed oriented, highly adaptable, and possess the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Physical Demands:
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.

- Ability to read computer screens, email and talk on the phone.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
- Ability to respond to visual and aural cues.

Work Environment:
- Professional and deadline-oriented environment in an office setting.
- Interaction with team members and clients in both remote and on-site locations.
- Occasional in and out-of-state travel with some overnight stays as needed.
- Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
