
Vice President, Sales and Field Leadership

We are advancing an innovative portfolio of therapeutics, drawing on leadership that previously played key roles in the design, development, and commercialization of cutting-edge targeted cancer therapies, including antibody-drug conjugate therapies (ADCs). Our most advanced pipeline programs are varegacestat (formerly AL102), a gamma secretase inhibitor which is currently in a Phase 3 trial for treatment of desmoid tumors; IM-1021, a ROR1-targeted ADC which is currently in a Phase 1 trial; and IM-3050, a FAP-targeted radioligand, which recently received IND clearance. Our pipeline also includes IM-1617, IM-1335, and IM-1340, all of which are preclinical ADCs pursuing undisclosed targets with expression in multiple solid tumors.
Position Overview
Immunome is seeking a proven commercial leader to drive the launch of varegacestat, our first commercial therapy, and to build and lead the Field Sales and Field Market Access organizations, along with the Market Development team.
This role represents a pivotal opportunity to define and execute Immunome’s field go-to-market strategy in oncology —by establishing high-performing, patient-focused teams that ensure access, education, and engagement with oncology practices nationwide.
The ideal candidate brings deep oncology experience, launch expertise, and a track record of success building field organizations within biotech environments.
Responsibilities
Launch Leadership
- Develop and execute the national field launch plan for varegacestat, including sales deployment, field access strategy, customer segmentation, and readiness planning.
- Partner closely with the Market Access function and Patient Services to ensure seamless payer coverage, affordability, and access across the patient journey.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Corporate Communications to ensure consistent, compliant, and impactful field messaging.
- Build and deliver launch readiness frameworks that align sales, field market access, and TLL teams behind a unified go-to-market strategy.
Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit, hire, and develop the founding field organization, including Sales, Field Market Access, and TLL teams.
- Establish a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and patient focus.
- Develop best-in-class training, coaching, and performance systems to ensure excellence and consistency across teams.
- Define KPIs and incentive structures that align field execution with launch and business objectives.
Field Market Access
- Lead the Field Market Access team, ensuring proactive engagement with payers, IDNs, GPOs, and key oncology practices to support product access and reimbursement.
- Partner with internal Market Access leadership on strategy execution, translating national policy and payer dynamics into actionable field insights.
- Drive collaboration between sales and field access teams to optimize pull-through and ensure aligned customer engagement.
- Monitor and report access trends, regional dynamics, and stakeholder feedback to inform strategy and execution.
Thought Leader & Customer Engagement
- Build and lead the Market Development team, cultivating relationships with top oncology experts and treatment networks.
- Guide field engagement to be insight-driven, compliant, and deeply patient-centered.
- Ensure cross-team alignment on key messages, data dissemination, and stakeholder education.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a core member of the Commercial Leadership Team, contributing to launch strategy, forecasting, and resource prioritization.
- Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Medical, Legal, and Compliance to ensure integrated, compliant field execution.
- Champion field insights within the organization to inform brand strategy and future indications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or related) preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of commercial experience in biotech/pharma, including at least 10 years in oncology field leadership including experience leading leaders
- Proven success building and leading field sales and access teams during new product launches.
Knowledge and Skills
- Expertise in field access strategy, payer engagement, and oncology reimbursement landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to connect strategy to execution in complex, evolving environments.
- Known for developing talent, fostering collaboration, and building cultures of accountability.
- Experience in both large pharma and emerging biotech organizations is strongly preferred.
- Oral oncolytic experience necessary. Commercial sales and/or marketing experience in the sarcoma space preferred.
Washington State Pay Range
$330,225 - $382,764 USD
