Your Role at impact.com:

Partnerships are at the heart of impact.com - not just enabling thousands of brands to develop their own partnerships, but making sure we are a leading partner in our own right. The impact.com Technology Partnerships team’s mission is to leverage impact.com’s partnerships with fellow tech companies to drive business opportunities and best-in-class customer experiences.

Technology Partner Associates [TPA] are responsible for discovering and vetting new technology partners, setting up conversations with those businesses, and aiding key initiatives to develop long-term partnerships. 

Technology Partner Associates will collaborate closely with existing strategic partners to orchestrate co-sponsored events aimed at generating new business for impact.com and its channel partners. 

The ideal candidate is energetic, curious, tenacious, highly motivated, organized, and a natural networker. You’re not afraid of goals, and thrive when talking to people, selling them things you believe in. You should be tech-savvy, and comfortable explaining complex concepts and have a solid understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

  • Diving deep and learning the ins and outs of partnership marketing - one of the fastest growing marketing channels in the world - and of impact.com - the world’s leading partnership platform.
  • Working closely with Technology Partner Managers to manage existing relationships and source new technology partners
  • Planning and executing co-sponsored events with technology and agency partners to drive new business pipelines. TPA’s will be responsible for managing expectations with collaborating event sponsors, communicating with venues, and driving event RSVPs from high-value prospective customers through email outreach campaigns. 
  • Researching, profiling, and blueprinting new potential technology partners. You’ll have to put your detective hat on and think critically about the mutual value of integration partners and how they align with impact.com’s strategic direction.
  • Reaching out to potential partners to create new conversations and partnership opportunities for our Technology Partner Managers through a combination social selling, email campaigns, cold calling, events, and more. This requires a mix of perseverance and creativity.
  • Aiding in the day-to-day operations of strategic technology partnerships. 
  • Participating in team meetings, networking, trade show events and activities to grow the business.
  • Providing valuable market and product feedback to continue to drive impact.com’s partner development strategy.

What You Have:

  • 1 + years of experience in a sales or marketing role at a SaaS company. Business Development experience is a huge plus.
  • An exceptional communicator - written and verbal; you put time and energy into your communications and enjoy speaking with people.
  • Detail-oriented and organized; you’re capable of managing a large number of concurrent tasks without dropping balls.
  • Event organizing experience - the ability to deliver high-end, in-person events which contribute to sales goals.
  • A natural networker; you thrive on talking to people, forging connections, and selling things you believe in.
  • A tenacious optimist; you’re not demoralized by setbacks or “no’s” and are always looking for the next opportunity. 
  • You’re inherently curious - excited by things you don’t understand, new technologies and how they fit together, markets, strategies, and more.
  • You’re an energetic self-starter, and are hungry - for wins, for growth, for success, for knowledge. 
  • You’re skilled in prospecting, using tools like LinkedIn, Salesforce and SalesLoft
  • You are passionate about ecosystem-lead growth, the value of technology integration partners and dedicated to creating reciprocal value for you and your partners. 
  • You’re tech-savvy, comfortable with creating presentations, scheduling meetings, using social media, quick to adopt new technology etc.

Salary Range: $91,000 - $104,000 per year in potential OTE, plus eligible to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant and additional variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance.

*This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
