Your Role at impact.com:

As part of our Product Operations team, the Associate Technical Writer will assist in delivering high-quality product documentation for our industry-leading partnership management platform. This role supports the broader organization by contributing to a comprehensive, accessible knowledge base for our fast-growing Partnership Automation SaaS tool, used by brands and enterprises worldwide.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the Product Enablement team to develop a strong understanding of the technical and business aspects of our products and their use cases
  • Audit existing documentation to identify content that is outdated, inaccurate, or no longer useful
  • Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and translate their knowledge into clear, engaging, and human-friendly help content
  • Develop high-quality product documentation across formats, including tutorials, how-to guides, explanations, and technical reference materials
  • Use customer feedback and Help Center metrics to inform and prioritize content development
  • Partner with the Customer Success team to create thoughtful, pre-written responses and chatbot content that guides customers to the right resources
  • Help increase adoption of self-service help content and reduce the need for manual support
  • Collaborate with the Product Operations team to ensure help content is accurate, searchable, and consistent across multiple delivery points

What You Have:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree at an accredited university
  • Strong written communication skills, with writing samples or a portfolio you can share
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing deadlines and expectations
  • Curiosity and interest in learning new concepts, terminology, and technical topics in a fast-paced SaaS environment
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing or web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus, but not required
