Your Role at impact.com:

We’re seeking a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented intern to play a crucial role in supporting the operational cadences within our Marketplace Growth team. This role will focus on improving customer productivity and offer a unique opportunity to contribute to data analysis, content creation, and process improvements.This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in project management, digital marketing, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic technology environment. 

You'll get hands-on experience setting up, building, and optimizing AI-powered tools and automation workflows This role is ideal for someone who wants to build real skills in lifecycle marketing, automation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic technology environment. This is a 6-month hybrid internship.

What You'll Do:

  • Automate Merchandising Operations: Assist with building AI tools and automated workflows to replace manual processes across partner research, list curation, and reporting.
  • Execute Email Campaigns: Set up end-to-end email marketing automation, including segmentation, copywriting, sequence logic, and performance tracking.
  • Curate Marketplace Partners: Research, vet, and manage brand and creator lists to keep merchandising high-quality and audience-aligned.
  • Analyze & Report Performance: Track key marketplace metrics (discoverability, engagement, GTV contribution) and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reporting sheets.
  • Optimize via A/B Testing: Experiment with campaign timing, email messaging, and placement to maximize engagement.
  • Drive Content & Playbooks: Draft compelling messaging for merchandising touchpoints and document processes into repeatable team playbooks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, CS, and Analytics to align merchandising programs with broader business priorities.

 

What You Have:

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Linguistics, Public Relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — ability to write clean, clear, engaging copy that prompts action.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); especially Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
  • Genuine interest in the creator economy, brand partnerships, e-commerce, or marketplace ecosystems.
  • Strong curiosity about AI tools and automation — eager to go beyond using them to actually setting them up, configuring workflows, and building scalable systems.
  • Research-oriented mindset with a knack for digging into data and identifying lifecycle trends.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys both creative and analytical work.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, automation platforms, workflow builders, etc.) is a plus.
