Your Role at impact.com:

As an Integration Engineer, you will assist clients in successfully configuring, implementing, integrating, and launching their accounts. You will be responsible for owning the client relationship during onboarding, answering client questions, taking any requested Zoom calls, and leading specialised training on basic platform adoption. You will also be responsible for following the onboarding process and escalating any issues to their managers.

In addition, you will be responsible for learning impact.com's technology and assisting with proposing and implementing technical solutions for our clients. Working alongside Solutions Architects, Client Success, and other internal teams, you will interact with clients across business and technical domains, answering questions about the integration process, best practices, and impact.com's technology to ensure timely implementations.

What You'll Do:

  • Stay current with impact.com’s platform capabilities, product enhancements, and relevant industry trends.
  • Responsible for a portfolio of new accounts, including launching, following a defined onboarding process, and ensuring metrics are accurate across all clients. 
  • Ensure all required stakeholders are included in discussions necessary to ensure respective setup items are agreed upon and confirmed.
  • Continuously drive projects forward and ensure any blockers are surfaced and triaged immediately to keep project timelines on track.
  • Support the design and integration of technical solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Lead technical discovery and solution discussions to understand client requirements and propose optimal solutions based on client objectives.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical integration documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during client onboarding.
  • Ensure critical client account and business information is captured and documented to ensure a smooth transition to Success / Account Management

  • Ability to pair technical expertise with a considerate, customer-centric communication style that maintains a strong interpersonal presence. This style is calm, constructive, and solution-oriented, while showing patience, empathy, and professionalism when supporting stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • A proven track record of delivering significant value through the hands-on application of AI to real-world challenges and opportunities, grounded in a sophisticated understanding of its core principles.
  • Voracious learner who is willing to be out of their comfort zone
  • Natural curiosity leading to a deep understanding of the client's challenges
  • Passion for solving customer issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Phenomenal problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
  • Foundational knowledge and some practical experience in utilising web technologies, including but not limited to HTML, JavaScript, SQL and REST APIs
  • Good understanding of the process and challenges involved in the design and implementation of client solutions on SaaS platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Maths or related Science or Commerce discipline
  • Proven performance in an Integration Support, Sales Engineering, Software Development or related discipline, preferably in an external customer-facing capacity.
  • 5+ years working in a tech-focused role at a digital marketing or technology-focused company
  • Familiarity with the affiliate and/or digital marketing industry preferred
