Your Role at impact.com:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at impact.com, you'll work on a global team, building real time data processes at-scale. You can be part of the design and build of distributed systems with an opportunity to become an expert in the field.

We work with many of the world’s best-known brands - you will be directly building the product we are selling to these companies.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver new product features using agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot) as a core part of your daily workflow
  • Write clear specs and prompts, break work into agent-sized tasks, and guide agents to high-quality results
  • Critically review, test, and debug agent-generated code, so that everything you ship meets our standards for correctness, security, and maintainability
  • Design, code, and automate tests for new product features, by hand when it's the right tool
  • Resolve real-world challenges for brands on our Partnership Platform
  • Address complex technical engineering issues related to scale and performance
  • Engage directly with the Product team and other engineers to gather and understand requirements
  • Help the team improve how we work with agents by sharing prompts, workflows, and lessons learned
  • Be part of an agile team process and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with remote team members using tools like Slack and Zoom
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the team's commitment to own production

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in programming using open source technologies
  • Strong engineering fundamentals. You can read, write, and debug code without an agent, and you know when an agent's output is wrong
  • Hands-on experience with, or genuine enthusiasm for, AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to express intent precisely in writing, which is the foundation of working well with agents
  • A problem-solver, eager to address challenges and deliver solutions
  • Thrives independently and when collaborating within a team
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Tools & Skills
    • Java/JavaScript | Spring Framework | SQL
    • Agentic coding tools: Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot
    • Git | Gradle/Maven | IntelliJ/Eclipse/VSCode
    • MacOS/Linux | Cloud Computing

Nice To Have:
