Team Overview:
We are a leading technology company in the IoT space with a strong focus on leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and enhance our internal business processes. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and improving our internal business applications, ensuring seamless operations, and optimizing business processes and performance. This role will also collaborate with developers, vendors, and 3rd party support teams.
What You Will Do:
- Application Support:
- Lead hands-on technical and operational support for internal line of business applications, including configuring applications, triaging permission issues, etc., ensuring high availability and minimal disruption to business operations
- Resolve complex technical and functional issues related to internal applications as reported by end-users by troubleshooting, analyzing, and implementing timely and effective solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to resolve application-related problems efficiently
- System Enhancements and Upgrades:
- Consult with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, identify opportunities for holistic system improvements, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs
- Own the testing and validation of system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to established quality standards
- Leverage data insights and feedback to continuously improve and refine business processes
- Business Process Analysis and Optimization:
- Act as an internal consultant to our teams by conducting thorough analysis of existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for optimization and automation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify pain points, gather feedback, and propose solutions to streamline operations
- Develop and document detailed business process models, including "as-is" and "to-be" states, to guide system enhancements and drive process improvements
- Implementation and Training:
- Author comprehensive documentation of system configurations, business rules, and procedures to ensure accurate knowledge transfer and support continuity
- Conduct user training sessions to ensure effective system utilization and increase end-user adoption and proficiency, and create and maintain onboarding materials to support future end-users
- Own all end-user support and assistance, addressing inquiries and clarifying system functionalities as necessary
- Project Management:
- Lead projects of significant impact, spanning across multiple internal organizations from beginning to end
- Adapt to shifting priorities and create strategies to mitigate downstream implications to partners
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting internal line of business applications
- 3+ years analyzing and documenting complex business requirements within finance and operations organizations
- 3+ years supporting applications under SOX compliance, directly owning evidence collection and audit activity
- 1+ year experience in programming languages and scripting such as C#, PowerShell, and/or Python
- Solid knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies and best practices and familiarity with IT enterprise process standards and regulations (e.g. ITIL, Lean, PCI, SOX)
- Experience with system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Proven background collaborating with multi-functional teams such as Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations
Compensation & Benefits:
The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.
The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $103,100 - $154,600. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
