Senior AOI Process Engineer

Team Overview:

This role will be part of the Silicon Process Engineering team at Impinj. This is a global team responsible for managing high volume production for the EPIC product lines and working on Impinj's next generation RAIN RFID products. You'll work with our team in Taiwan from our resident engineering office at Chipbond in Hsinchu City with the flexibility to work from home on a hybrid basis.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain AOI recipes and ADC models, and generate new AOI recipes for innovative products
  • Collaborate with internal IT and factory teams to resolve issues with AOI tools and ADC systems efficiently
  • Qualify AOI PMs, process changes, and new inspection tools to ensure flawless operations
  • Disposition low yield lots at OI and ADC steps, providing feedback to relevant manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain ADC models for identifying and addressing new defects
  • Correlate ADC results with manual inspections to improve ADC model accuracy
  • Build comprehensive documentation of processes, models, and findings to support continuous improvement

What You Will Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field
  • 5+ years of hardware and application experiences in Camtek Eagle inspection tools
  • Proficiency in scripting to query SQL databases and analyze AOI/ADC results effectively
  • A strong background in AOI or equivalent experience with proven expertise in ADC
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
