Job Summary:
As a Medical Writer at Impiricus, you will create compelling, scientifically accurate content that bridges the communication gap between pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals, and patients. You will be responsible for developing clear, engaging, and compliant medical content that effectively communicates complex scientific information to diverse audiences while maintaining scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality medical content tailored to specific audiences:
- Create scientific content for healthcare professionals that supports clinical decision-making
- Write clear, accessible medical information for patient education materials
- Develop strategic communication materials for pharmaceutical clients
- Transform complex clinical data into compelling narratives:
- Analyze clinical trial results and research findings
- Create data presentations that resonate with different stakeholder groups
- Develop visual aids and infographics to support key messages
- Ensure compliance and accuracy:
- Maintain consistency with medical communication guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Verify scientific accuracy and proper citation of sources
- Collaborate with medical reviewers and regulatory teams
- Support cross-functional projects:
- Work with marketing teams to develop promotional materials
- Partner with digital teams to create engaging online content
- Assist in developing communication strategies for product launches
Experience:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or related field
- 3+ years of medical writing experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare communications
- Demonstrated ability to write for multiple audiences (healthcare professionals, patients, industry)
- Strong understanding of clinical research, medical terminology, and therapeutic areas
- Experience with regulatory requirements for medical communications (FDA, EMA guidelines)
- Excellent writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and healthcare landscape
- Experience with digital content development and management
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating versatility across audiences and formats
