Job Summary: 

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to lead and scale our internal technology operations. This role will oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, security, support, and systems management across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building efficient, secure, and scalable IT processes that enable productivity and business growth.

As our IT Manager, you will work cross-functionally with teams in operations, security, engineering, and HR to ensure a seamless technology experience for all employees—whether they’re remote or on-site. This is an opportunity to own and evolve a modern IT stack while playing a critical role in supporting our growing workforce.

Duties/Responsibilities:

IT Operations & Support

• Manage day-to-day IT support across devices, systems, and applications (e.g., laptops, VPNs, video conferencing, cloud tools)
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and account setup
• Conduct inventory, assignment, and ordering of IT equipment
• Administer identity and access management (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace, SSO)

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain IT security protocols, including device management (MDM), encryption, backups, and endpoint protection
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR) in coordination with the compliance team
• Monitor and mitigate potential security risks, phishing threats, and vulnerabilities

Systems & Infrastructure

• Manage SaaS applications, licenses, and integrations across the organization
• Partner with Engineering on infrastructure needs, including cloud storage, network security, and collaboration tools
• Maintain internal documentation for systems, processes, and best practices

Strategy & Process Improvement

• Evaluate new tools, vendors, and IT systems to improve team efficiency and scalability
• Own the IT budget, vendor relationships, and procurement workflows
• Lead IT-related projects and act as a thought partner to leadership on all technology-related decisions

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT management or system administration
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity
• Experience with internal website development and maintenance (Google Sites, SharePoint, Wordpress)
• Experience with healthcare IT systems and HIPAA compliance preferred
• Proficiency in Windows and Mac environments
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, etc.) a plus
