Job Summary
We’re seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused Vice President to lead the Docupdate product line. This is a cross-functional leadership role with full ownership over Docupdate’s performance—including product strategy, go-to-market execution, operational excellence, and commercial success.
You’ll serve as the Leader of the product line, working across product, engineering, growth, sales, and customer success to ensure Docupdate continues to scale as a category-defining solution for HCP engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and evolve the product vision and strategy for Docupdate in alignment with company goals.
- Own the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory shifts in the HCP engagement space.
Execution & Delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, growth) to deliver high-quality product experiences.
- Ensure timely and successful execution of product initiatives from ideation to launch.
- Implement agile product development practices and foster a culture of experimentation and iteration.
User-Centric Innovation
- Deeply understand the needs of HCPs and pharma stakeholders through research, interviews, and data.
- Champion user experience and drive product decisions that enhance engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Head of Growth to optimize onboarding, feature adoption, and referral loops.
Partnership & Monetization
- Work closely with commercial and sales teams to define product features that support pharma partnerships.
- Ensure product experiences align with ethical standards and regulatory requirements in healthcare.
- Identify opportunities for monetization while maintaining a strong user experience for HCPs.
Team Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing product team as Docupdate scales.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven product culture
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in product, general management, or strategy roles, ideally in healthcare, pharma, or B2B2C environments.
- Proven success owning and scaling a product or business unit with P&L responsibility.
- Deep understanding of physician workflows, pharma engagement models, and healthcare data.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment preferred.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing multiple hats.
