Controller / SVP, Finance

We are one of the fastest-growing and most exciting agencies working in pharmaceutical marketing today, and we’re looking to add a Controller / SVP Finance to our team.

Imre is seeking someone “hands-on” to oversee all financial operations from finance to accounting. The Controller / SVP Finance will report and partner with the COO.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

  • Lead strategy and execution across all financial functions including financial reporting, internal/external audits, budgeting and forecasting, covenants, cash management, month end close, day-to-day accounting processes, and tax. Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all data.
  • Run and oversee day to day operational accounting needs including projected revenue, billing rates, cross departmental synergies, and contracts, MSA’s, & SOW’s.
  • Build and mentor Finance and Accounting team of four (finance lead, accounting manager, ap clerk, and payroll clerk) through the implementation of systems, processes, internal controls, and policies. Controller / SVP Finance will identify areas to improve as needed.
  • Oversee and maintain relationships with external partners that support the accounting and finance infrastructure from the audit/tax team to the bank to vendors.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align financial planning with organizational goals
  • Prepare, analyze and present monthly financial reports with all stakeholders including senior leadership and Board of Directors, including monthly income statements, forecast vs. budget, financial and operational metrics.
  • Develop and maintain the highest standards of financial management and create processes to support our current and future goals and objectives.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through the lens of the financial community and make appropriate recommendations as to further the aggressive growth of the company.
  • Oversee weekly cash management and AP Department, approve large payables, sign checks, authorize large wires and ACHs. Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection policies & process.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 10+ years of experience in the field with 3+ years in a leadership position
  • Advertising Industry experience required
  • Experience with PE Board of Directors preferred
  • CPA required
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite, Monday.com, UKG, Microsoft Teams and Egnyte
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task
  • Team player with a positive attitude and confidence
  • Must be able to lead a team effectively.

Salary: $175,000.00-250,000.00 annually
