PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Edit live-action and animated videos for various platforms and uses (such as social media, digital, television, and presentations)
- Execute innovative ideas through collaboration and guidance of Art Directors through their final production
- Travel for on-site video and/or photograph capture and content production, occasionally outside of normal business hours when needed
- Stay informed on latest video editing techniques and best practices
- Adheres to budget and time constraints while managing multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Flexibility to find multiple ways to solve problems offering a variety of creative solutions.
- Swiftly translate storyboards and directed conceptual ideas into a visual medium
- Work closely with Studio Manager, producers, and Art teams in planning and coordinating content creation.
- Works and collaborates with the art directors and copywriters to create scripts and storyboards to present ideas to department stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with experts in various disciplines and departments
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- BA Preferred
- 2+ years of experience
- Portfolio that displays examples of engaging animation and video content
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite’s Premier Pro and After Effects
- Strong understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Extensive knowledge on how to bring a concept or script to life through motion graphics, video, and sound
- Proficient in video editing.
- Advanced experience in 2D motion graphics animation
- Understanding of post-production workflow.
- Experience in sound mixing and color grading is a plus
- Knowledge of videography and photography. Possessing knowledge and being able to create content with professional-grade cameras and/or a mobile phone
