Senior Copywriter

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Serves as a content expert on the product and its therapeutic area for the internal team and clients, when needed
- Represent the brand, our agency, and our clients by leading MLR meetings, offering copy solutions, and taking back feedback to rewrite copy internally
- A pro at executing the day-to-day work and taking it from kick-off to completion
- Skilled in the referencing/annotating process, partnering with Editorial to maintain core claims guide and editorial style guide
- Partnering with Art to bring all work to life, collaborating closely with Art partner, and offering creative solutions to best pair art and copy within a given deliverable
- Develop a close working partnership with Medica, Art, Editorial, and Studios team members
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Medical degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in pharmaceutical advertising, with emphasis on social/digital deliverables targeting HCP audiences, DTC pharma social/digital is a plus
- Proven ability to understand multiple therapeutic areas with an emphasis on HCP audience
- Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to write in different tones for different audiences (HCP and DTC)
- Ability to write (and rewrite) effective, impactful copy that aligns strategically to the brief with minimal oversight
