PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Uncovering nuanced and differentiated clinical insights that help drive brand strategy.
- Developing team members' skills and competencies.
- Working across multiple brands across various therapeutic areas.
- Partnering with Brand Strategy to leverage key insights to develop brand positioning, market shaping, and briefs for medical accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for expanding scopes through relevant medical strategic capabilities.
- Plan, organize, and moderate client workshops with Brand Strategy.
- Proactively offers strong and pointed POV on current and future competitive threats, HCP/KOL audience insights, drugs in development.
- Act as agency medical lead during MLR review process for key Creative projects.
- Act as medical lead on HCP and DTC AOR pitches by partnering closely with Brand Strategy to develop the brand’s differentiated medical story, and with Creative to ensure medical strategy and accuracy of all assets.
- Work with Account leads to identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Work closely with team leads and senior leadership.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Advanced life sciences degree required: PharmD, PhD, or MD (or equivalent)
- 10-14 years of healthcare agency experience
- Attention to detail, ensuring consistency, continuity, and medical accuracy
- Communicates ideas and thoughts clearly
- Identifies medical inaccuracies and works to provide solutions proactively
- Works effectively and collaboratively with other team members
- Showing an in-depth understanding of the brand’s clinical data, therapeutic category, current and pipeline competitive threats.
- Show a very strong understanding of differentiation and messaging strategy for HCP and DTC audiences. Partners closely with Creative to develop and finesse HCP and DTC message architecture, and other core creative deliverables.
- Serve as a trusted partner to the client by showing up as the brand expert on the disease state and clinical data and show an understanding of current and pipeline competitive threats
- Ability to come into the office or client site 2x per week
Salary: $240,000-$260,000/annually
