PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

Brand Responsibilities

  • Partners with CX (Account) team for the overall health and success of the brand(s) including but not limited to, organic growth, promotion of cost-effective solutions for client's business needs, and new agile ways of working with clients.
  • Oversees full range of client deliverables for an assigned multi-brand portfolio from project planning to final delivery with regards to timing, quality, and budget.
  • Management of complex projects and problems; advises about how to approach an out-of-the-ordinary project or ask.
  • Serves as lead and escalation point across assigned client(s) and brand(s).
  • Holds partnership meetings with internal leadership stakeholders in CX, Creative, and Strategy to discuss brand health and other strategic topics.
  • Serves as content matter expert (CME) to answer client project-related questions and attend client meetings as needed.
  • Takes a proactive approach to managing risk at the brand or portfolio level.
  • Solves project or client challenges in tight collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Oversees status and internal brand meetings, contributing and providing valuable input.
  • Understands, upholds, and enforces internal and brand procedures and requirements.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Partners cross-functionally with CX and Finance to preserve good financial health of their brands.
  • Partners with CX and all cross-functional agency teams to build and approve scopes of work, tactical and staffing plans, pricing out assumption-based estimates and resourcing for each tactic on a full year plan as well as project based.
  • Manages and oversees project budget estimates as needed.
  • Reviews financial output reports, incoming briefs, and timelines/estimates from team prior to internal team review.
  • Collaborate with CX on forecasting initiatives.
  • Contributes to general financial responsibilities such as approving reallocations of billing, evaluating project completion costs for common trends or outliers, evaluating new client requests and staff billability to examine financial and project risk, etc.                                                                                                                                  

Operational Responsibilities

  • Leads ongoing discussions and solutions towards organizational excellence with department leadership team.
  • Optimization of brand, process and financial health of projects and portfolios.
  • Participates in the department leadership team.
  • Leads strong cross-functional relationships, working closely with all agency departments and leads.
  • Accountable for agency billability and utilization guidance and metrics, timesheet oversight.
  • Participates in forward planning and strategic meetings.
  • Effectively utilizes internal dashboards to review project performance and ensure team is meeting critical KPIs for agency.
  • Participates in rollouts for agency systems, tools & initiatives and the successful rollout and maintenance from documentation, training, communication, and compliance.
  • Participates in business development activities as needed.
  • Ensures completion of personal and direct report timesheets, expenses, and all other administrative duties accurately and on a timely basis.

Talent Management

  • Manages, mentors, and delegates assignments to PM team, ensuring open communication & timely completion of assigned work.
  • Completes performance review, promotes training and development, and partners with HR on employee relations and performance management issues for assigned team.
  • Working with EVP, Client Operations to assign accounts and projects to Project Management team, matching needs and providing proper yearly coverage and team staffing mix.
  • Participates in staffing / resourcing conversations; assess hiring needs, interviews, and ensures smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Has a pulse on the culture of the team, ensuring decisions are made with an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion lens.
  • Create & facilitate internal trainings on operations and platforms for staff.
  • Partner closely with other directors to share cross team learnings.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

  • 10+ years within the Pharmaceutical Marketing & Advertising space
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or other relevant certifications a plus but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) or equivalent platforms.
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, and able to speak the language of creative and digital development platforms (Figma, Adobe, or Content Management & Systems equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools required.
  • Proficient with financial management tools (e.g. SAP/Fiori/MavenLink or equivalent).
  • Expert multichannel production knowledge across print, video, digital and social
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people management ability.
  • Expert in Project Management methodologies and delivery.
  • Experience leading cross-discipline teams.
  • Experience with strategic scenario planning.
  • Strong experience with campaign launch process highly preferred.
  • Strong financial aptitude.
  • Ability to come in person to an office location (Philly or NYC) 2x times per week

Salary: $210,000-$250,000/annually
