
Logistics Coordinator
The Opportunity
The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in the Logistics Team and the overall supply chain team by ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day logistics operations. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in transportation coordination, shipment tracking, and data entry within ERP, CRM and TMS systems. The Logistics Coordinator is essential for maintaining accurate records, facilitating timely deliveries, and providing support to the Lead Logistics Specialist in optimizing logistics processes.
What You’ll Do
- Transportation Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with carriers and freight forwarders
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork
- Track shipments and proactively communicate any delays or exceptions to relevant parties
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
- Shipment Tracking and Monitoring:
- Monitor the progress of shipments and update the ERP, CRM, TMS and other systems with accurate information
- Proactively identify and resolve any potential delivery issues
- Communicate with carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Accurately enter logistics data into the ERP and TMS systems, including shipment details, freight costs, and delivery confirmations
- Maintain organized records of all logistics activities
- Generate reports on key logistics metrics as needed
- Other Duties:
- Assist the Lead Logistics Specialist with various tasks, such as preparing reports, analyzing data, and coordinating with carriers
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with other Supply Chain related tasks as assigned
Your Experience and Capabilities
- Some education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or a related field is a plus
- 0-1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation, preferably within the manufacturing or EV industry
- Proficiency in using ERP and TMS systems for logistics functions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
US Hourly Range
$23 - $23 USD
