Gainsight PX Data Analyst Overview:

 

Incident IQ is seeking a skilled Gainsight PX Data Analyst to join our Product team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging the Gainsight Product Experience (PX) platform to analyze user behavior, monitor product usage, and provide actionable insights to improve user engagement and drive product adoption. As a key member of the product team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, customer success teams, and marketing to ensure data-driven decisions enhance the overall user experience and optimize product performance.

 

Gainsight PX Data Analyst Responsibilities: 

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Gainsight PX to track and analyze user behavior, product usage, and engagement metrics. Build and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • User Journey Insights: Identify patterns in user interactions with our product to highlight friction points, feature adoption, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Segmentation & Targeting: Create user segments based on behavioral data, product usage, and customer lifecycle stages to help personalize user experiences and drive targeted interventions.
  • Collaboration with Product Teams: Work closely with product managers to translate data into actionable insights that inform feature development, product enhancements, and roadmaps.
  • Product Adoption Monitoring: Track user engagement and feature adoption to identify success stories, as well as areas needing attention. Create strategies to improve product adoption and retention rates.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including product, customer success, and marketing, to help drive product improvements and customer satisfaction.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Develop and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of product changes and user experiences.
  • Data Integrity & Governance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy within Gainsight PX, troubleshooting any data discrepancies or issues.

 

Gainsight PX Data Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within SaaS or technology companies.
  • Hands-on experience with Gainsight PX or similar product analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior analysis, product engagement metrics, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding languages.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with customer success and marketing teams to align data-driven strategies with business goals.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experiment analysis.
  • Knowledge of data governance best practices and ensuring data integrity.
