Senior Paralegal Overview:
Incident IQ’s Legal Department is growing, and actively looking for a Senior Paralegal (Legal Operations Professional) to join the team. The right Professional will provide support to the General Counsel and assist with a broad range of legal matters pertaining to Commercial & Business Support, Corporate/Secretarial, Administrative, Compliance, Intellectual Property, and Litigation Disputes, as needed. This position requires a high level of organization, initiative, trust, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Senior Paralegal/Legal Operations Professional Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage iiQ’s compliance requirements across various domains, including vendor management, state and federal regulations, business registrations, and sales enablement.
- Support document review and completion, and projects as directed by our General Counsel.
- Assist with legal research, including statutory review, case law and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain legal files, documents, and databases.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of legal forms and documents.
- Support in-house legal matters, including contract management, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
- Provide guidance on compliance matters and collaborate with other departments to resolve any compliance-related issues.
- Manage day-to-day oversight of internal processes.
- Manage the organization's state registrations; collaborate with the finance team to deconflict registration requirements as needed.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders across the enterprise on matters related to legal/compliance issues.
- Represent the legal department in meetings as needed.
Senior Paralegal/Legal Operations Professional Requirements:
- At least 3 years of prior Paralegal/Legal Operations experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, and/or nonprofit/governmental agency setting.
- Military background (especially as a paralegal) is strongly preferred
- Additional prior experience in substantially equivalent areas (business/financial analysis) also accepted.
- Highly preferred experience with LinkSquares, Filejet, Salesforce and/or similar software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree, or completion of a two-year program in legal studies/paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You are able to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach
- Can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves, and a commitment to the details of the business and legal and regulatory work of the company - no job too big or small.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
