Sales Development Representative Overview:
We’re looking for a high-energy, goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team and support our Account Representative (AR) segment. In this outbound role, you'll generate new pipeline opportunities through proactive outreach to K-12 school districts in an assigned territory. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about education technology, and wants to build a career in sales. You’ll work closely with our ARs and sales leadership to execute outbound cadences and qualify leads that turn into opportunities.
Sales Development Representative Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Representatives to co-prospect school districts in assigned territories
- Design and execute outbound sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn, voicemail) to engage decision-makers at the district level
- Leverage tools like SalesLoft, 6sense, LinkedIn, and SFDC to identify high-potential leads
- Personalize outreach to spark interest and drive qualified conversations
- Schedule qualified meetings that convert into sales opportunities
- Manage and maintain lead records in Salesforce with a high level of accuracy
- Track and analyze performance to hit daily, weekly, and monthly outreach targets
- Support special campaigns, events, or region-specific initiatives led by the Account Representative team
Sales Development Representative Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of outbound SDR experience (SaaS or EdTech is a plus!)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft, 6sense)
- A passion for education and improving outcomes in K-12 school districts
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in sales or account management
