The Impact You’ll Make

As a Fraud Analyst, you will analyze data to uncover patterns, identify suspicious behavior, and investigate fake and altered IDs to prevent and mitigate fraudulent activities. Collaborating closely with our machine learning, engineering, and client-facing teams, you will play an essential part in refining fraud detection systems and recommending innovative solutions to complex challenges. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to dive into the evolving world of fraud prevention and make a meaningful impact in a cutting-edge, AI-driven environment. 

What You’ll Own & Drive

Fraud Detection & Analysis: 

  • Analyze patterns in user behavior and documents to detect fraud. 
  • Examine altered or counterfeit identity documents, such as IDs and passports. 
  • Investigate cases of identity theft, account takeover, and synthetic identities. 

Data Insights: 

  • Use SQL and Python to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights. 
  • Use Tableau dashboards to monitor and analyze Fraud performance. 
  • Identify anomalies that signal potential fraud attempts. 

Problem Solving: 

  • Develop and implement creative solutions to prevent fraudulent activities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve fraud detection strategies and processes. 

Continuous Learning: 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fraud schemes and industry trends. 
  • Adapt quickly to new challenges and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of fraud prevention methodologies. 

Collaboration with Teams: 

  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Work closely with the product, data, and engineering teams to align fraud prevention measures.

Your Background

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, fraud operations, trust & safety, or a related analytical role. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or any related field. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ExcelSQL and Python for data analysis and problem-solving. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and patience in analyzing complex datasets. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative mindset to develop innovative solutions. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration across teams. 
  • Mindset: A passion for learning and curiosity to understand and address fraud patterns and schemes.
