
Financial Services Coordinator
We are currently seeking a Financial Services Coordinator to join our team of highly qualified professionals that share our vision of Empowering Children to Conquer their World! This role is responsible for verifying insurance benefits and building cost estimates for therapy and ABA services to help families understand the costs of services.

What you will do:
- Verify insurance benefits online and over the phone.
- Build cost estimates for evaluations and treatment for therapy and ABA services.
- Input patient data into a computer system and update all data related to financial services appropriately as needed.
- Speak with families about the cost of treatment and answer questions.
- Submit and maintain necessary insurance prior authorizations.
- Obtain financial documents from families.
- Communicate with families when changes in funding occur.
- Maintain multiple excel spreadsheets.
- Run, interpret, and complete functions from daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with billing team to problem solve benefit and billing discrepancies.

Education/ Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required.
Skills/ Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
- Must be persistent in obtaining the correct benefits from insurance companies.
- Ability to problem solve and think about how changes in funding could affect our clients financially.
- Ability to recognize patterns in coverage and benefits from insurance companies.
- Desire to be on the phone the majority of the time.
- Demonstrate a desire to serve families and go the extra mile.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
- Ability to author routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding the dress code.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Physical Demands:
