What you will do:
The Therapy Recruiter is responsible for attracting qualified Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to begin a career at Pediatrics Plus. The Therapy Recruiter must understand the company needs, identify and source appropriate candidates, cultivate relationships with candidates, and implement the selection process.
- Understand current staffing needs for Pediatrics Plus.
- Assist with problem solving and identifying effective recruitment strategies based upon the role, hiring trends, industry best practices, and company needs.
- Attracts talented candidates through implementation of recruiting strategies including, but not limited to:
- Building relationships with contacts, assigned universities/graduate programs, and local/state/national organizations.
- Identifying and/or planning opportunities for recruiting through presentations, events, networking, as well as other means. *Must connect with assigned universities/graduate programs’ cohorts at least one time per semester with face-to-face contact being preferred.
- Representing the company at identified and/or planned recruitment presentations, events, networking opportunities, as well as other avenues.
- Sharing job opportunities through various platforms.
- Sourcing candidates through relevant platforms.
- Implements recruitment selection process:
- Reviews applications daily.
- Initiates scheduling of candidate screenings.
- Schedules candidate screenings.
- Completes candidate screenings.
- Schedules candidates for leader interviews.
- Follows up on leader interviews.
- Gathers contact information for 3 references.
- Offers job to candidate and sends offer letter.
- Processes signed offer letter.
- Implements Stay Navigator process.
- Assists with retention strategies.
- Cross trains with all recruiters to fill in as needed.
- Participates in weekly team meeting, weekly 1-on-1s, and annual performance reviews for professional development and growth.
- Provides feedback to administration regarding ways to enhance recruiting for the company.
- Responds positively to feedback concerning job performance.
- Communicates any needs or concerns with administration.
- Upholds and incorporates the core values, mission and philosophy of Pediatrics Plus into all job responsibilities.

What you have:
- Basic computer skills which include a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding the dress code.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Travel may be required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Master’s Degree in a therapy/ABA related field, preferred.
- Recruiting experience, preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to accurately communicate information and ideas so others will understand through sight and hearing. The employee is regularly required to move including walking, running, jumping, and sitting. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, lift, reach, and feel. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
