Role Overview:

The Managing Consultant, Functional – RightAngle, plays a pivotal role in implementing, upgrading, and supporting RightAngle solutions for energy and commodity trading organisations. This position requires deep expertise in commodity lifecycles, CTRM/ETRM systems, and associated front-, middle-, and back-office processes, including deal modeling, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and accounting. The Managing Consultant serves as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, delivering high-quality RightAngle implementations, ensuring successful project outcomes, and providing a superior client experience while optimizing client operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement within the RightAngle platform.
• Design, configure, and test RightAngle functional modules to ensure successful implementation and alignment with client business processes.
• Document business requirements, functional designs, test plans, and related project deliverables.
• Work closely with technical teams to support RightAngle configurations and customizations tailored to client-specific needs.
• Support existing RightAngle solutions by addressing bug fixes, enhancements, and operational issues.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance activities to validate solution functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Develop a strong understanding of client front-, middle-, and back-office operations to effectively meet business needs.
• Ensure solution designs prioritize scalability, robustness, maintainability, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Follow established best practices, maintain documentation standards, and adhere to issue resolution and change management workflows.

 

Key Requirements:

• 14+ years of professional services experience delivering CTRM/ETRM solutions, with deep expertise in RightAngle S15 or higher.
• Strong knowledge of RightAngle and key CTRM/ETRM modules supporting commodity and energy operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to support configurations and custom solutions within RightAngle.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions independently or as part of a project team.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a strong focus on client success.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in system implementation, upgrades, testing, and production support for RightAngle environments.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in RightAngle Functional delivering CTRM/ETRM solutions with S15 or higher
