Job Description
- Job Title: VP of People and Culture, Shared Services
- Base Salary: $200 - $220k, based on experience and skill set.
- Location: United States
- Work model: Remote
- Travel Requirements: Up to 25% local and national travel required.
- Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary:
The VP of People & Culture, Shared Services plays a critical role in shaping the future of Indigenous Pact HR Shared Services. They are the People and Culture Leader within the organization and a member of the Care Leadership Team. They are tasked with developing, implementing and continuously improving the HR Shared Services Organization (SSO) through best practices, benchmarks and metrics.
They work closely with the Director of People and Culture, Community Care, to ensure the P&C needs of all managed services are being delivered effectively. They bring SSO knowledge to the organization and are tasked with leadership of SSO people, processes and technology. They contribute to and consult on how to make Indigenous Pact a great place to work.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee the People and Culture needs of Indigenous Pact.
- Develop, implement, monitor and continuously improve the HR Shared Services Organization.
- Manage the delivery of all HR services provided by the SSO, ensuring Service Level Agreements and delivery goals are being met.
- Understand the full scope of Indigenous Pact's business operations, including all partnerships, and adapt shared services to effectively meet their evolving needs.
- Oversee HR analytics to identify trends and develop actionable recommendations that enhance the delivery of HR services and drive organizational impact.
- Collaborate closely with the Director, People & Culture, Community Care to ensure P&C strategies effectively address the unique needs of the care communities.
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives.
- Provide strategic HR advice to senior leadership.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Proficient computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in HR leadership roles.
- Experience developing and implementing an HR Service Delivery Model.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies.
Physical and sensory demands:
- This position will require extended periods of sitting, typing, and working on a computer screen.
- Close vision is required for computer work.
Working environment:
- This is a remote position, with expected working hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm. Adjustment of working hours may be required to accommodate time zones.
- Local and national travel required - up to 25%
