Job Description
- Job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator
- Base Salary: $55,000-70,000 USD, based on skill and experience.
- Location: USA
- Work model: Remote
- Travel Requirements: 5-10% of national and international travel may be required from time to time
- Reports to: Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving awareness of Indigenous Pact’s mission, activities and impact. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the digital marketing and social media marketing plan execution while enhancing overall marketing strategies for Indigenous Pact. You are someone who is solutions-oriented, prides themselves on strong attention to detail and organization, has excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of marketing practices in business consulting environment, and knows how to take a growing brand to its fullest potential.
This role is a remote role based in the USA, with 5-10% of national and international travel may be required from time to time.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support the Marketing team in execution and maintenance of digital marketing and social media marketing plan and initiatives for the brand and its clients
- Monitor and research digital marketing trends and strategies to stay up to date with best practices in social media management and digital marketing
- Identify digital channels and execute social media strategies for campaigns including idea generation, content creation, design, and scheduling.
- Maintain and act as the main point of contact for the organization's website including web updates and development.
- Update and monitor Indigenous Pact’s social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct brand analysis to determine the effectiveness of the messaging, positioning, and perceptions of the target audience.
- Create marketing collateral including writing, developing, and managing of digital marketing materials
- Strategize and negotiate with media partners to obtain the most competitive rates for ad space and keywords and help ensure the success of paid media campaigns.
- Conduct search engine optimization tasks to determine strategies for improving visibility and ranking.
- Reading analytics reports, understanding data needs, and providing insights that inform strategy and decision-making

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties.
- Familiarity with media relations practices and experience in creating and distributing media materials.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to promoting its goals through strategic communications.
- A self-starter who is capable of working independently
- Strong technical skills with experience using WordPress, Square Space, Google Analytics, and other email campaign, and analytics tools
- Strong design skills with the use of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and other similar tools
- Proficient computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office suite programs
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a similar role and working on ad campaigns (Web, social media, Traditional media)
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience working with Indigenous communities and people
- Prior experience working in marketing team in a consulting setting
- Prior experience with developing and maintaining websites and social media accounts
Physical and sensory demands:
- This position will require extended periods of sitting, typing, and working on a computer screen.
- Close vision is required for computer work.
Working environment:
- This is a remote position, with expected working hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm. Adjustment of working hours may be required to accommodate time zones.
