Base Salary: $95,000 - $110,000

Location: Remote, USA

Travel Requirements: up to 25% local and national travel required

About the Role 

Join Indigenous Pact as a Senior Advisor - Revenue Cycle and help Tribal health organizations strengthen the financial operations that sustain care. You'll bring together revenue cycle expertise, financial and operational analysis, project execution, and client collaboration to turn complex challenges into practical, actionable solutions. 

Your Impact 

In this role, you will help Tribal health organizations improve billing, claims, payment, and reimbursement performance. Your insights and recommendations will support stronger, more sustainable health systems and advance Indigenous Pact's mission of health equity for American Indian and Alaska Native communities. 

What You'll Do 

• Analyze revenue cycle performance, payer mix, reimbursement structures, and workflows to uncover meaningful improvement opportunities.
• Apply your understanding of Tribal health financing, including AIR/OMB encounter rates, Purchased/Referred Care, and IHS/638/ISDEAA structures, to shape thoughtful client recommendations.
• Build clear financial and operational models that help clients evaluate performance, fee structures, and business cases.
• Turn complex data into practical recommendations and compelling client-ready presentations, proposals, and deliverables.
• Help move engagements forward by managing deliverables, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and contributing to business development and leading practices.

What You'll Bring 

• A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, healthcare, Tribal relations, economics, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least one year of relevant consulting or healthcare industry experience.
• Working knowledge of revenue cycle best practices, hospital and ambulatory billing, third-party reimbursement, and applicable regulations and policies.
• An understanding of Tribal health reimbursement structures and payment models, plus experience with electronic medical record and practice management systems.
• Strong financial and operational analysis skills, including the ability to develop models, identify trends, and present recommendations to executive and operational audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with strong communication, organization, judgment, relationship management, confidentiality, and adaptability.
• Experience working with Tribal communities or Tribal health organizations, prior analyst/advisor/revenue cycle consulting experience, or knowledge of healthcare coding fundamentals is a plus.
