Business Intelligence Developer (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our Business Intelligence (BI) team to support and enhance analytics capabilities across manufacturing operations—from production and supply chain to quality and engineering.
  • Develop data pipelines and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights on throughput, downtime, cycle time, scrap rates, inventory, on-time delivery, backlog, capacity analysis and other key manufacturing metrics.
  • Work closely with plant managers, operations leaders, and engineering teams to understand production workflows and provide real-time data solutions via Tableau dashboards.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize data models integrating ERP, MES, and shop floor systems with Snowflake and ETL tools.
  • Lead Tableau training sessions tailored to manufacturing and operations staff, driving data literacy and dashboard adoption.
  • Continuously refine BI solutions to support lean initiatives, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of BI experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Advanced Tableau experience, including manufacturing KPI dashboards and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, and ETL processes; familiarity with ERP and MES data sources is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work hands-on with operations and engineering teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with experience turning raw shop-floor data into business insights.

 

 

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $130,000 -$150,000 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
