Position Summary
As the Electrical Design Project Leader, you will assist in managing project timelines, tracking key milestones, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of engineering and manufacturing initiatives. This role involves maintaining visibility on project progress, identifying risks, and facilitating process improvements to enhance efficiency. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and operations personnel to document project requirements, track changes, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support creation of project plans; ensure clear documentation of project requirements, changes, and stakeholder communications.
- · Utilize various internal software platforms and data-driven applications to pull reports, establish metrics, track progress, and suggest process improvements.
- · Collaborate with Engineering Administrators and Management to identify and resolve common engineering process challenges.
- · Organize and analyze engineering data to support decision-making, prioritization, and process improvements.
- · Maintain program dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility on project progress, process adherence, and change adoption.
- · Track job assignments, project changes, special projects, and action items across teams.
- · Support On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Quality initiatives through effective project coordination.
- · Work outside the electrical design department as required to support order processing and other business needs.
- · Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and operations teams to identify risks and mitigate delays.
- · Assist in the deployment and support of engineering efficiency tools and workflows.
- · Help author and track feedback/ drive review of documentation to drive to release
- · Coordinate with Learning Management and Quality to formally release new/updated documentation, and assign required training and acknowledgements
- · Train team members on technical writing best practices to enhance the quality of technical process mapping and documentation.
- · Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications

Associate’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field is a plus.
· 2–5 years of experience in coordination, project scheduling, or a similar role.
· Experience with documentation, process mapping, change management, and project tasks scheduling processes is a plus.
· Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing environments is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document control systems, and project tracking tools.
· Experience working with ERP, PLM, or other business support systems is beneficial.
· Experience driving process and engineering systems improvement is a plus.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $82,560 -$122,000 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
